A job is entered once and accompanies the entire workflow of the business: from planning and the assignment of employees, vehicles and machinery, through execution on the move, to job reporting, invoicing and analysis. No duplicate entries, no loose paper notes, no information lost between the office, the dispatcher and the driver.

DexOne is structured around job types: transport, material delivery, waste disposal, recovery and wood chip logistics all run on the same platform. When a job is entered, the job type is selected – the input screen, the terminology and the workflow adapt accordingly, right through to the driver app: for waste disposal it reads “collection point” and “disposal site”, not “loading point” and “unloading point”.

The mobile job view shows every driver their jobs with times, locations and one action per status – from starting the job to reporting back hours worked, work performed and quantities.

Notices with polls
The office reaches drivers and teams directly in the app: notices with a clear list of recipients and a read receipt. Anyone who has read a notice confirms it – without rounds of phone calls.
Where an answer is needed, the notice becomes a poll with set answer options – for the Saturday shift, for example. Templates with preset recipients make recurring messages quick.

Time tracking on your own device
Employees clock in, take breaks and clock out directly on their smartphone. Once set, an entry stays unchanged; corrections are possible, but only with a reason – traceable for both sides.
The daily timesheet shows working time and breaks at a glance, the month-end close produces a PDF and a CSV file. Aligned with the requirements of the Swiss Labour Act.

Wood chip logistics
One job. Several operations. Every load recorded.
A wood chip job rarely takes just one day. DexOne therefore maps it as one job with several operations: for each operation, drivers, vehicles, machinery and locations are assigned anew, and every load is recorded individually.
Log pile recording and the live operations map are part of this: they support the collaboration of everyone involved in the forest. So DexOne does not just manage transport from A to B – it also maps complex real-world workflows.

Log pile recording with the live operations map
On timber and wood chipping operations several parties work in the same place: the chipper, several drivers and the forestry business as well. On the live operations map – intended for the iPad in the vehicle – the whole group can see where the others are, so that nobody gets in the way on narrow forest roads.
Log piles are recorded with their location and quantity. The chipper operator books every load in bulk cubic metres; the drivers report each load hauled away – the quantity balance shows continuously what has been chipped and what has been hauled away.

From the field
Not invented at a desk.
DexOne grew out of the experience of a real Swiss business. Raphael Scheiben GmbH plans and coordinates transport jobs, green waste collections and mobile services every day – and uses DexOne in its own operation while doing so. The experience gained in this day-to-day work feeds directly into its further development.
The result is not an overloaded standard software package, but an understandable solution geared to the actual requirements of small and medium-sized businesses.

Development status
Developed in day-to-day operation.
Job management, dispatch, the mobile job view, job reporting and invoicing are in the test phase in day-to-day operation – as are log pile recording with the live operations map, notices with polls and time tracking. DexOne is continuously being tested and developed further on the basis of real requirements and real-world jobs.
A public launch is planned for a later date.

What you should know about DexOne.
- Which businesses is DexOne made for?
For small and medium-sized businesses with mobile staff, vehicles and changing jobs: transport and logistics, agriculture, forestry and timber logistics, recycling and waste disposal, construction and maintenance, and local authority services. DexOne is being developed out of the day-to-day work of a real Swiss business.
- Is there an app for drivers?
Yes. Drivers and staff see their jobs on their smartphone, start the job, report quantities and hours, and receive notices from the office. The app is part of the same platform, so nothing has to be entered twice.
- What does it mean that DexOne is structured around job types?
Transport, material delivery, waste disposal, recovery and wood chip logistics all run on the same platform. You choose the job type when entering the job, and the form, the wording and the workflow adapt to it – right through to the driver app. For waste disposal it reads “collection point” and “disposal site” instead of “loading point” and “unloading point”.

Not as a finished product – but you can take part. DexOne is currently being trialled in day-to-day operation, and businesses that would like to test it in their own work are welcome to get in touch. We deliberately do not name a release date until one is certain.
- What does DexOne cost?
There are no prices yet. As long as the product has not been released, any figure would be non-binding and therefore worthless. As soon as a model is settled, it will be stated openly here.
- Is DexOne also intended for businesses in Germany and Austria?
Yes. DexOne comes from Switzerland and follows Swiss working practice, but it is aimed just as much at businesses in Germany and Austria. The website is available in German, French and English.
